In case you haven't gotten the massage yet, we lovely folks at TAG want you and yours to drop by tonight and celebrate the opening of Poetic Aesthetic with us. Poets and artists in the show, tasty (free) food, and a poster sale will all be here. Don't miss out!

RECEPTION TIME!!!!!

Friggin snowstorm delayed the opening reception for Poetic Aesthetic yesterday... But, that was then and this is now. The party is back on today at 5 at TAG (2202 Art-Sociology Bldg, UMDCP, College Park, MD 20742). Be there or be square. And "square" is code for free food and drinks, amazing art, and a limited edition poster sale with prices that start at 20 bucks. I'll let you decide...

Snow Day, Shmow Day

Due to the fact that UMD is closed for the day, TAG thinks its a good idea to reschedule the opening reception for tomorrow, Friday January 28, 2011 at 5 pm. See you there!!!!!!!!

Things are busy around TAG at the moment. Waaaay busy. But no worries, we can handle it. The art in the show is too cool to keep to ourselves anyway. Be here on Thursday, Jan. 27 @ 5 pm for the opening reception for Poetic Aesthetic: An Exploration of Creativity in Poetry and Visual Art. The par-tay will last till 8 pm. Big shoutout to Roots Market in Olney, MD for supporting the shindig for the show with tasty food. Another two big shououts to UMD's Department of English AND Daedalus Books and Music in Baltimore, MD for supporting Poetic Aesthetic.

TAG is rolling out 2011 with a new show "Poetic Aesthetic: An Exploration of Creativity in Poetry and Visual Art." The show features 14 poets and 14 artist paired together to create 3 new works exclusively for the exhibition.
