Celebrate "The BAD" with us!

Ok, so these shots were taken during the instllation of our soon-to-open-in-less-than-two-and-a-half-hours exhibition, Adam Parker Smith: The Bad. The Bad. The Bad. We had a lot of fun installing this show, but these pictures here only begin to capture the truly awesome work of Adam Parker Smith. So you know what that means right?!?

Here are some shots our Director, John Shipman took during a gallery visit from the Maya Angelou Public Charter School on December 18, 2009 (The day before that HUGE blizzard). The kids dropped by for a gallery tour of our exhibition Unlimited Impressions, an awesome workshop where our Education Intern Ashley J. taught them a super cool (and super easy!) screen printing technique, and pizza (on us of course!). It was an all around cool day. The MAPCS crew had a great time and The Art Gallery staff had a blast.
Big thanks to the entire MAPCS gang (esp. their sweet art teacher, Ms. Bell!)

The Art Gallery is very excited to invite EVERYONE to the Opening Reception of our latest exhibition "Adam Parker Smith: The Bad. The Bad. The Bad". Bad will debut with an opening reception on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 from 5:00pm -7:00pm. Drop in to see (and participate in!) Adam's latest and greatest works.
